The Weekenders had their Christmas get together for Afternoon Tea at Lottie’s Secret Tearoom on 6th December. Lottie only does one Afternoon Tea each month and she is rapidly getting booked up for 2014. We got even more into the Christmas spirit when eighteen of us attended the “Christmas is Coming Concert” at the Albert Hall on 15th December. This was organised by the “Music for Everyone” organisation with performances by the East of England Choir, the Daytime Voices choir and the children’s section of the organisation. The Albert Hall was packed for this event. Everyone enjoyed this; the only complaint is that the seats are not very comfortable!
The Programme Planning get together for the next three months will be on Saturday, 11th January when we will discuss lots of new ideas for 2014.
