Weekenders

The next Planning Get-Together for the Weekenders Group will be on Saturday, 25th August from 2-4 pm. We hope to plan events for us to attend from September to December and would welcome your input and ideas.
8, 9, 10 August – Hucknall Dramatic Society’s production of “Our Day Out”, 7.30 pm at the John Godber Centre; tickets (concessions) £5. We are hoping a group of us will be attending on one of these dates.
The Hucknall Weekenders Group have been invited to join the Ashfield Weekenders for a meal at Bella Mia in Hucknall on Sunday, 2nd September and places are open to anyone who would like to join us. Please let Sandra Green know.

Family History Surgeries are held in Hucknall Library on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10 till 12 am. FREE
Sunday 2 Sept: Albert Hall 2:45 pm FREE Admission to the Fourth Binns Organ recital. Pre-recital 3 course lunch for only £10.20. Seating at 1pm. Need to book.
8 Sep-9 Sep: Wollaton Hall and Deer Park 11:00-16:00 FREE special behind the scene tours.
7 Sep-16 Sep: World Event Young Artists 2012 (WEYA) Nottingham City Centre FREE 07:00 till 23:00
9 Sep: 20:00-22:30 Mandala – Old Market Square FREE.
This unique open-air show will see Nottingham Council House spectacularly illuminated in colour and light, with live South Asian dance and music projected onto the building. Performances by world-class artists including Anoushka Shankar and Talvin Singh. Part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
