The December Coffee Club will be on Saturday, 6th and this will include a Book & Recipe Swap. If you have a favourite recipe you would like to share, email it to Sandra Green and she will print off enough copies for the group. Places are limited so make sure your name is down.
The Weekenders’ Sunday Lunch for November was at The Three Ponds at Nuthall and was a very pleasant occasion. Names are also being taken for the Weekenders Group Christmas Lunch at the Horse & Groom, Linby on Saturday, 13th December. Please give your name in now to make sure of a place.
Lindsay Smith is again hosting a Social Evening on Saturday, 29th November (the day before St. Andrew’s Day) when there will be a Scottish theme with haggis, tatties & neeps, crowdies, tipsy laird trifle and shortbread.
A reminder that the Weekenders Group Planning Meeting will be on Saturday, 10th January at 2 pm and will combine with the Coffee Club session. Bring along all your ideas for the programme and any unwanted Christmas gifts that you might like to swap with someone else’s!
