The Film Club

Meeting as part of the Bonington Theatre Film Night our next two meetings are on Thursdays, at the Bonington Theatre, High Street, Arnold. The admission charge is £2.50 plus a one-off membership fee of £1 p.a. Films are shown at 7.30 and we meet in the bar at 7.15. Tickets and registration at the Ticket office. Both of these films last over 2 hours so there will be an intermission when the bar will be open for ice cream, coffee and drinks.
The next meet will be Friday 18th July when we shall see George Clooney in ‘The Descendants’
The Broadway is still having their Seniors sessions each Thursday at 10.30 and 1.00 p.m. except on Thursday 26th June when start will be 10.00 a.m.as they are showing a longer film – ‘The Jersey Boys’.
For Monty Python fans there is a live transmission of the performance of these pensioners from the O2 arena in London. This is on Sunday 20th July and runs from 7.00 till 10.30 p.m. and cost for seniors is £12. More info on the Broadway website.
