National Trust October Trip

October’s trip is to Waddesdon Manor, the magnificent house built in the style of a French château by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1874. He wanted it to display his outstanding collection of art treasures. These include Marie Antoinette’s fabulous writing desk. The date of the trip is 4 October.
We will be leaving Hucknall Leisure Centre at 8.30 am. The coach fare is £11.00 and it’s free to go in so long as you are a National Trust member. If not there will be a reduced rate entrance fee of £13.00 which I will require when booking as it has to be paid two weeks prior to our visit.
