We had a good turn-out in January for our walk, which was the first part of ‘The Robin Hood Way’. Starting from Nottingham Castle and later than usual because of the bus pass ‘problem’ we headed for The Nottingham Canal. Then it was up the steps to Clifton Boulevard, under the road to University Boulevard and onto to The University Park (Lakeside), where we had our coffee. It was a bit icy around the lake there but we have a paramedic in our group now, so all’s well!! We wandered through the University Campus and on to Wollaton Hall, around the lake and had our lunch inside the Camelia House. After our shorter than normal walk we returned to Nottingham by bus having had a lovely day out.
Our next walk will be on Monday February 15th to Farnsfield
I’m sorry to say that our group is full once again and I have had to close the waiting list for now.
