Lunch Group

We had a lovely Christmas lunch at the Osbourne Lounge at the Albert Hall followed by a very entertaining visit to the Panto at Nottingham Playhouse (“Oh no, not the Sheriff of Nottingham!) and of course the U3A Lunch Group got a mention from the stage along with all the different schools who were attending. I can now tell you that next year’s Panto is Jack & The Beanstalk so start saving your Christmas Lunch pennies.

23rd January we are booked in at Bella Mia on Annesley Road. A two course lunch is £12.95 and I need your menu choices please; you will find this on the U3A website by this weekend but please let me know at the U3A meeting at the latest.
27th February we are going to Petit Paris in Nottingham but unfortunately the list is now full although I can take names for the waiting list.
27th March we are going to Oscar’s Lounge at Calverton and I will be taking names in January.
Many thanks to the Lunch Group members for the beautiful basket of flowers (arranged by Rose Ridley) together with the Christmas gift which will be very useful during the January sales! I really do enjoy planning the Lunch Group outings (and quizzes) and have made so many good friends since we started in July 2008.
