June Walk to Kirkby Dumbles

Short Walk Group
In June, despite the threat of heavy rain, 17 of us enjoyed a very pleasant 2 hour walk around Kirkby Dumbles. We had to wade through some long, wet grass to start with, but after that the route was relatively easy.
We walked through flower filled fields with views over towards Crich stand and the Derbyshire Hills, and there was even a short stretch along the old Great Central Railway trackbed.
After the walk we had a very enjoyable lunch at the Duke of Wellington at Kirkby Cross.
