Gardening Group
Following on from the impressive July visit of our group to Penarth Gardens at Sherwood next month we will be making a Derbyshire visit to Meynell Langley Trials Gardens on Tuesday 19th August. This is a rather unusual Garden centre as it specialises in breeding new varieties of border flowers. A large garden Centre with cafe for light lunch and afternoon teas is available. Those members booked on the mini bus will be leaving Hucknall Ogle Street at 11.30 – those members in cars will set their satnavs on DE6 4NT- next to Kedleston Hall. www.meynell-langley-gardens.co.ukThe bus should be back in Hucknall by 4.30.
On Tuesday September 16th we are planning to take a 49 seater to visit Harlow Carr RHS Garden centre at Harrogate. This will be an all day trip which will be in great demand from all those not yet been. This is a major trip for us and also the last visit out this year.
To pay for both these excursions come and see either Judith, Janet or Alan at the rear of the main hall at the monthly meeting on Tuesday Aug 14th.
