The Film Club (information)
The listings below are the films that will be shown at Silver Screen Thursday viewings to seniors at specially reduced prices which include tea/coffee and biscuits.
The times given are for the Broadway (10.30 and 13.30) and may differ at the other cinemas. Give yourself plenty of time to ensure a good seat as these shows are very popular.
Cinemas include all in our area as follows Showcase Lenton, Cineworld, Cornerhouse, The Broadway, Broad Street, The Savoy Derby Road and The Odeon Mansfield.
Thursday 9th June – ‘Sing Street’ filmed in Dublin the story of an Irish band “guaranteed to get you out of your seats and dancing in the streets
Thursday 16th June – ‘Where to Invade Next’. Comedy film by Michael Moore about the American plans for invasion.
Thursday 23rd June – ‘Calamity Jane’ – Whip Crackaway on referendum day. Enjoy this Memory Lane film
Thursday 30th June – ‘The man who knew infinity’ starring Jeremy Irons in an inspirational biopic about Srinivasa Ramanujan.
Films at the Bonington Film Club will be emailed to members of the Arts Group when announced to me.
