I would just like to convey a word of praise and thanks to Janet Gibson, Co-ordinator of the Creative Writing Group, and to the members of the group for making me so welcome as a new member. I am finding the group not only educational but also good fun. The subject matter for our “homework” is varied and encouraged me to write 500 words on “She walked through the garden gate……”, “A secret you know about a house which is up for sale”, “Your point of view as either the criminal or the victim of the Hatton Garden heist” and “Choose one of the deadly sins and write about it”. I am so enthusiastic about my “homework” that I usually do it on my return from the group the same day. Something I never did at school! So thanks again to the Creative Writing Group.
