The group held a Christmas Flower Arrangement Workshop which was attended by members of Craft Group 1 also. The two hour workshop started with Christine, the tutor, demonstrating how to assemble the oasis, candle and pot which would hold the arrangement. From there Christine showed how to start at the base of the arrangement using various foliage, a large variety had been brought in by members of the group, collected from their garden and other places, perhaps better kept secret. Finally the flowers and Christmas decorations were added to complete a fabulous ‘table centre’ which everyone could replicate for Christmas day.
Thank you to Christine for all her work and time taken in assembling the equipment and instructing.
