A couple of items worth seeing this week for those interested in films and theatre.
Both on at The Bonington Theatre within Arnold Leisure Centre ( Parking on Asda open air car park, High Street).
Wednesday 22nd April at 7.30 ‘The Theory of Everything’ starring Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawkins, a part that won him an Oscar for his performance.
Friday 24th April at 7.30 the Baroque Theatre Company presents ‘ House of Ghosts’
This play is an Inspector Morse mystery, the only one written for the stage. This play is rather unusual as it starts off as a production of Hamle when Ophelia suddenly dies on the stage and Inspector Morse is a member of our audience. The stage is then cordoned off as the murder scene.
The film is the usual £2.50 to members ( £3.50 to others that includes life membership).
The play is £8 for pensioners. Meet in the bar at 7.15pm.
