April's Pub Quiz and Lunch

This month our numbers present was slightly reduced owing to holidays, trips out etc. It’s the start of the holiday season so it was inevitable really. On the other hand we did have some new members come along and everyone seemed to enjoy the quiz and lunch.
The quiz was themed loosely around Easter. Twenty-five questions with the following categories: Bunnies, Easter, Eggs and Chocolates.
The quiz as always proves to be very competitive. The winners were “The Three Divas” scoring a maximum of 25 {Brilliant}. Second were “Whatever” scoring 24 and third were “Newbies” also scoring 24 but further away from the Tie Breaker. All members of winning teams won a prize. The team that came first received large Easter cake packs, the second team small Easter cake packs and the third placed team small Easter eggs. Once again thanks to Sandra Green for purchasing the prizes for us. Most people enjoyed doing some dingbats for a laugh.
Once again the raffle proved to be popular. Thanks to the Nabb Inn management who donated a bottle of wine. Also thanks to our members who donated prizes, it really is appreciated and does help us to give a more memorable lunchtime.
Everyone one present was given a Cadbury’s Cream Egg as an Easter present from the Committee and we hope you are all enjoyed them.
