Just to remind those of you who were unable to make the monthly U3A meeting at The Leisure Centre last Wednesday that our next garden Meeting will be at the John Godber Centre, Byron Suite this Tuesday, 17th October commencing at 2.00 p.m.
Our speaker will be John Stirland, the gardening expert from BBC Radio Nottingham who will be giving a talk entitled Winter Gardens and attempting to answer your questions on problems in your garden.
My earlier warning about a limitation on numbers has now been overcome by the John Godber Centre letting us have the adjoining room in addition so there will be no likelihood of turning anyone away.
The usual £2 admission charge will apply.
Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Tuesday
Following this visit of BBC’s Garden Expert John Stirland we have invited again another Radio Nottingham gardening expert, Stewart Dixon, to come and give us a talk at our November garden group meeting on Nov 21st.
