All Hucknall U3A members wishing to know what our area has to offer in the way of films, am dram, orchestral concerts and transmissions of ballet and international drama should contact alansnape@hotmail.co.uk and add their email address to the members list to receive a current calendar incorporating much of what has been brought to my attention.
Most of the items to be seen are at The Royal Concert Hall, City cinemas, Lacemarket Theatre, George Street Theatre or The Bonington Theatre/Cinema in Arnold. All performances are to be booked individually by contact with the ticket office tel numbers provided. At present this group is for information only but it is hoped that some events will be group visits. I would be grateful for any info on events that you would like to see included in the calendar. Also it is anticipated that soon we will be able to receive further information on subsidised Arts activities from First Arts funded by the Arts Council and aimed specifically at redundant coal fields areas.
