Mid-Length Walking Group June-July

Our June walk was from The Plough Inn at Hathersage. It was a lovely sunny day and our twenty-six walkers were treated to a challenging but brilliant 7 mile walk; Barrie and Sue were our walk leaders. My legs ached for nearly a week after because of the climb up to Stanage Edge but the views from the top were spectacular and well worth the effort. We were like a herd of mountain goats!! Cold drinks all round in the garden of the Plough Inn afterwards were a welcome treat. We had a wonderful day out, thank you Barrie and Sue.
