Science Group 2 Programme

21 members attended our first meeting in May and a further 7 members will be starting in June. We had a very lively discussion around ideas and topics for future meetings, which was followed by a presentation from David Rose around ‘The Physics of Car Crashes and Car Safety’. Our planning group met the following week to draw up a provisional timetable, based on these suggestions. We have planned for each session to include a group activity and a presentation/discussion around a specific theme. We will also plan in a few visits.
