I have planned a trip to York on Wednesday 29 April.
Goddards
I am planning three options for you:
1. Visit Goddards which is 1.7 miles from York and which was the former home of Noel Terry of Terry’s chocolate fame. They have promised to open earlier especially for us and give us a free talk on arrival.
or
2. Do not leave the coach at Goddards but travel into York and go straight to the Treasurer’s House in York. The free ghost tour should be available.
or
3. Remain on the coach and go into York and spend the day there, not visiting any National Trust properties. Obviously any member can come along on this option.
For those who decide to go to Goddards, the coach will pick you up after lunch and take you into York where you can either visit the Treasurer’s House or look round York.
The coach fare including driver’s tip is £10.00.
