MID-LENGTH WALKING GROUP
Our Santa and reindeer hats have been dusted off once more and paraded through the lanes and fields of Selston, Bagthorpe and Underwood. It was our last walk of the year, so we decided to celebrate Christmas early!! Although heavy rain had been forecasted we were lucky as it kept dry for the whole walk – phew, I didn’t really fancy wearing a soggy Santa hat!
After our 2.75 hour walk, 33 of us settled down in the White Lion pub, Selston, for our end of year get-together lunch. The food was delicious and a good end to another successful year of walking together.

Our next walk is on: Monday 19th January 2015 – a walk along the Nottingham Canal
