Lunch Group Autumn Plans

September 24th saw us at Larwood & Voce based at the Notts. Cricket Ground. Two of our members cheekily told the gatekeeper it had been years since they had visited the ground and he took them on a brief guided tour! The meal itself was pleasant enough but a little overpriced for some items we thought. The quiz was won by Lauren Armstrong and June Williamson.
I have noticed that some of the trees near my house are starting to turn red already so October 22nd will hopefully be very autumnal when we go to Forever Green, at Ransom Wood, near Rainworth. The October menu is already on the website, and directions have been emailed to those driving. On November 26th we are going to the Old Green Dragon at Oxton and this menu is also available on the website.
In October I will be collecting the balance for the Christmas Lunch at the Albert Hall. Please let me have your cheque made payable to Hucknall & District U3A. If you have already paid your £10 deposit, then the balance due is £12. Again the menu for this is on the website so please let me know your choices as soon as possible.
