What a lovely walk we enjoyed in July around Wellow. There was something different to see at every turn, culminating [or so we thought] with a climb with a view. Soon after however we faced the day’s challenge; an old railway cutting with around 70, yes seventy, steps down and then the same up the other side. A well earned drink was called for after that.
Our next walk starts at the Plough Inn at Farnsfield and is led by Chris Garner. This is a rural walk through mainly open countryside. This walk is gently undulating with a few styles and just over 4 miles long we cover an area south of Farnsfield.
