Sunday Afternoons at The Broadway Cinema
Your chance to see the film of your choice on a Sunday afternoon at 2.00 p.m. If you have a favourite film that you would like them to put on contact Rachel on 0115 9526600 or r.barrett@broadway.org.uk.
Films chosen for screening in November are as follows
Sun 17th November – The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel – another chance to see this highly successful Dame Judi Dench film – at 14.00 and 12A certificate
Sun 24th November – Doctor Who – The Day of the Doctor – newly released by the BBC is an absolute must for Dr Who fans. Its on Saturday night and repeated on Sunday at 14.00 . Saturday is already sold out so on line or phone booking is a must.
Sun 1st December at 14.00 – Richard 11 with David Tennant and Royal Shakespeare Company production – Wed and Sat showings are sold out so quick on line or phone booking is a must.
Thursday Silver Screen for November
Every Thursday morning at The Broadway, Broad Street, Lacemarket Tram stop

Thur 28th Nov – Journey to Italy – cert PG – 10.30 and 13.30. featuring Ingrid Bergman and George Sanders.

At Thursday performances U3A members meet in Cafeteria for free coffee and biscuits usually 30 minutes before the show time printed.
Advance Notice
Good news that the Friday Film Club at the Bonington Theatre in Arnold has following refurbishment recommenced with its £2.50 showings of your favourite requested films. The club meets on the first Friday of each month at 7.15 with an annual membership fee of £1. Further information can be obtained by contacting Alan on 07940146542.
U3A members are requested to meet in the bar at 7.15.
