Cycling Tour of the Dukeries

The planned Tour of the Dukeries had to be cancelled this week due to the forecast of rain which proved true and a short local ride took place to include an inspection of the new bridge at The Bonemill crossing of the tram line which was officially opened on Friday 18th October. This erection has to be seen to be believed – it must be one of the longest bridges to traverse such a short crossing. Having moved on to Bulwell Hall golf club for coffee and butties it was decided to replan the Dukeries ride for Wednesday 30th October.
