National Trust trips – July/August

On Monday 29 July we will be visiting Snowshill Manor, near Stratford and Hailes Abbey which is about ten miles away. This will be the first visit we have made to both places. Hailes Abbey is owned by the National Trust but administered by English Heritage. National Trust members enjoy free entrance to both places of course. If you are an English Heritage member take your card along as you will get a free audio tour which is £1.00 as an optional feature to National Trust members.
The coach fare is £10.50 and we will be leaving Hucknall Leisure Centre at 8.30 am.
At the July monthly meeting places for the August trip will also be on sale. This takes us to Hanbury Hall, Droitwich Spa and Greyfriars House, Worcester. We have two free guided tours booked at Greyfriars and there are guided tours available at Hanbury hall on timed tickets on the day.The visit will take place on Friday, 30 August. We will be leaving at 8.15 am from Hucknall Leisure Centre and the coach fare including driver’s tip is £10.00. Please note if you are not a National Trust member you will need to pay entrance fees of £8.90 and £4.00 respectively.
